Chateau Champoux, owned & operated by Paul & Judy Champoux, is 5 miles from the Columbia River atop the Horse Heaven Hills AVA, Washington states 7th American Viticultural Area. Some of Washington State's oldest and sought after Cabernet vines planted in 1972 are at this sight. Walk the vineyards, savour the wines. Enjoy the view from the Chateau deck. 18 plus wineries grace our retail shelves of which many are vineyard designated. VINEYARD TOURS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED UNTIL 2011. OUR ANNUAL EVENTS ARE SCHEDULED.     Join the fun for our 6th Annual Grape Stomp. Bring your three person team, your enthusiasm, your bare feet and stomp for prizes, trophies & bragging rights. Sign up by September 8. $45 for stompers $35 for non stompers. BBQ and wine tasting. There will be a raffle drawing for a framed, signed Dixie Rogerson-Bill print. Proceeds to benefit the American Heart Association.

    It's Autumn in the Horse Heavens. Come join us for a day of wreath making, any size, any number from fresh grapevines cut from the vineyard. Gift basket drawings, Wine Tasting & lunch.
